FT Registered Nurse

We are looking for a full-time Registered Nurse to be an integral part of our team. Hours are 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday. We believe in paying well for excellence. Full medical benefits. PTO on day one. No on-call hours, no weekends. This position is on-site.

  • Patient Assessment: thorough assessments of patients, including taking vital signs, reviewing medical history, and performing physical examinations.

    Medication Administration: accurately administering medications (including injections and breathing treatments), monitoring for side effects, and educating patients about their medications.

    Procedure Assistance: perform EKGs, draw and process labs, including drawing blood and collecting urine, using LabCorp interface to process labs, PAP smear assistance, dermatological procedures

    Patient Education: provide patients and families with education about their health conditions, medications, and self-care strategies.

    Collaboration and Communication: work closely with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.

    Observation and Reporting: observe patients' conditions, document findings, and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare providers.

    Promoting Health and Wellness: promote health and wellness through education, counseling, and referrals to appropriate resources.

    Chronic Disease Management: assist in managing chronic conditions, such as diabetes, heart disease, and arthritis, through education, medication management, and follow-up care.

    Preventive Care: provide preventive care services, such as immunizations, screenings, and health education.

    Managing Patients with Long-term Illnesses and Disabilities: manage patients with long-term illnesses and disabilities, providing support and coordinating care.

    Managing Patient Relationships: provide excellent care which makes patients comfortable, wanting to return, and recommend the practice to friends and family

    Documenting: complete accurate documentation in an EHR in a timely fashion

    Office Administration: as we are a small practice, every team member is expected to perform some administrative tasks, such as ordering supplies, answering phones, scheduling patients, etc.

    • LPN: graduate from a practical nursing program approved by the Ohio Board of Nursing and active Ohio nursing license

    • MA: active CMA certification from the AAMA
